F2 Trip to KizCiti

          The children explored some of the areas KizCiti had to offer during the trip on Tuesday. There included the fire station, airplane, bakery, ice cream parlous, beauty salon and hospital.

Tet Fair

IWB

Nini told me, "We have to wait...wait for sand to go down."

"I'm still waiting, waiting for Ana."

Nino understands that she needs to wait for her turn to play on the IWB and is becoming more patient when waiting.  She independently got the number badge and put it on. Nini recognised numbers 1-5 on the badges.

Splash pool

     

    Nini was playing in the splash pool and collected one of the floats.  She shouted to the teacher “Hey, look at me!” and began to hold the float out and kick her legs.  Nini then lay on the step with some of her friends  and they kicked their legs together confidently.

Fundino Playground

Today NiNi enjoyed playing with the building blocks.  She was building a tower.  When she saw I had come over, she initiated a conversation:

"Too tall!" (Pointing at the tower)

She took the blocks up the steps on the climbing frame.  She saw that another child throwing some blocks from the climbing frame and that one had nearly fallen on me.  She spoke to the other child:

"I not hitting your head."
"You bump here on teacher's head."
"Say sorry teacher."

Fundino playground

Ni Ni picked a ball and said "It's happy face." She showed a lovely smiling face :)

Nini Plays in the Big Playground

Nini had a great time playing in the big playground. She got the ball and ran around. She showed me the ball and said, "This is Nini's orange ball!" She went to her friend Minh Anh and said, "Want to play with Nini?" and they played together!

Soft Play Room

Ni Ni wanted to play on the trampoline but Danny and Tony were sitting on it. Nini the said, "Tony, Ni Ni jump."

Music Time

Nini enjoyed learning a new song during music time. Nini did very well and managed to join in with the actions of the songs too.

Nini wears her national costume!

Nini came to school in her national costume. She went to me and said, "Look, I'm so beautiful!" When I asked her what country her costume is from, she happily said, "Malaysia!" Beautiful dress Nini!

Fundino outside

Nini played in the water area outside with her friends. She took a bottle and used it for pouring. She said 'It is milk ,milk .I like milk'.

Creative area

Nini enjoyed decorating her rocket. She did it well and managed to finish painting her work. Well done Nini :)

Reading Area

Nini was excited to read the book with her friend .

Splash pool

Nini had fun in the splash pool today. She used the different equipment such as water wheels, watering cans and containers for pouring. Nini used both her hands for splashing water to her friends too! Well done :D

Settling in

Today, Ni Ni settled in class after just a short while. She watched nursery rhymes videos first then engaged in different activities. She went to the malleable area and played with the floam, got the magnifying glasses in the investigation area and went to the role-play area. She looked closely at the magnifying glass and smiled from time to time. Well done Ni Ni!
